Collage Card Making and Poetry workshop (Christmas theme) - Sat 14th Nov 2026, 13:30-16:30

Join Katrina from Art and Rhyme for a relaxed and inspiring workshop where words and visuals come together in a unique creative experience over a 3 hour session.

In this session, you’ll explore the art of collage alongside the beauty of poetry. Through guided activities, you’ll listen to a selection of poems and create your own words inspired by the theme of Christmas with all its special memories and associations.

Think holly and ivy, snow, robins, Father Christmas, snowmen, reindeer and Christmas trees and many more colours and images – a great time to make a special card for loved ones!

You’ll then bring your ideas to life by designing a personalised collage card to take home. Using a rich variety of colourful papers, textures, cut-out shapes, and craft materials like wooden embellishments and buttons, you’ll combine imagery and language into a meaningful piece of art.

This workshop is suitable for all abilities. This workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 5+ (children must be accompanied by an adult).

All materials and tools are provided from Katrina’s well-stocked craft collection. However, you’re very welcome to bring along your own materials or written pieces to make your creation even more personal.
